A week of intensive training will be offered by the SCDT for serious ballet students ages 10 and up. Classes begin each day at 1:00 p..m. and end at 4:00 p.m.

All SCDT-1, SCDT-2 and SCDT-3 dancers are expected to attend unless you are out of town.

The cost for the workshop is $20 per day. Dancers can choose to attend the master workshop as many days as they wish.

The workshop will be taught by Nina Danilova who has been a dance faculty member at the University of North Carolina School of Arts since 1996. A graduate of the Vaganova Institute in St. Petersbury, Russia, she performed with both the Kirov Ballet and the Moscow Ballet. She was a Doctoral candidate at the State Institute of Theatrical Arts, specializing in choreography, 1988-90 and from 1991-96, was a faculty member at Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, Wash.

This week is an excellent opportunity for Company members to focus on specific dance skills and to acquaint new Company members with the type of training provided each week through daily classes.
