SUMMER WITH THE SCDT!
South Carolina Dance Theatre hosts Summer Camps
The SCDT, home of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and other wonderful princesses, will host Princess Camp for Ballerinas the week of June 8 - 12 and Fairy Tale Character Ballet Camp the week of July 20-24 for children ages 4 - 9.
Ballet lessons, dance activities, stories and other entertaining events will create a wonderful and educational fun summer experience. Both weeks end with tea parties and "dress up" day to showcase the dancers. Under the direction of Susan Rowe, Artistic Director of the SCDT, quality dance instruction is provided in an informal setting appropriate for the age level.
The cost for each camp is $90 with a non-refundable registration fee of $25. The camps are held at the Company’s studio at 1910-B Second Loop Road from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm each day.
